Each task is aligned with one or more Phase I goals and, upon completion, will bring Polkadex one step closer to achieving said goals.
Individual & For Official Use Tasks
Content focused tasks will be split into individual tasks (ambassadors creating content to share on their own channels), and tasks submitted for team approval (mostly for content which may be shared on official Polkadex channels).
Ambassador roles
Tasks are also filtered by ambassador level, with some tasks available for Candidates (anybody who has applied to become a Polkadex ambassador) and others for Junior and Senior Ambassadors granted statuses.
Some tasks will need to be claimed in order to prevent multiple people working on the same thing at the same time without realizing.
Because of this, Ambassadors (individually or as a team) may need to claim a task before starting work on it. For example, if one of the tasks is to create a video tutorial, an ambassador (or a team of ambassadors) would have to claim the task before they start work on it so others can see somebody else is working on the video tutorial already.
If a task needs to be claimed, it will show as ‘unclaimed’ in Available Tasks (Phase 2).
To claim it and to let everybody know you’ve claimed it, share a link to the task (only a link to the task on notion) in the claiming tasks channel on Discord with a short text to confirm.
While we will do our best to keep the claims as up to date as possible, there may be some delay in the status of claimable tasks. In order to avoid working on a previously claimed task, check the #claiming-tasks channel on Discord and make sure the task you want to work on has not been claimed.
To prevent ambassadors from ‘hogging’ a task, there will be time limits on claims. The limit length depends on the specific task and is stated in the ‘How to submit’ section of the claimable task as shown below.
Ambassadors will also only be able to claim a maximum of 2 tasks at any given time.
Shortly after you have claimed a task, your name will be added to the ‘Claimed by’ section and a date will be added to the ‘Due by’ section according to your task’s claim limit length.
